Writing / Layout & Design / Illustration

Combining 16 years of professional publishing with 25 years of graphic arts training and experience, Willow has diverse interests and talents. Her grandfather was a printer and her mother produced a monthly international organization’s newsletter out of their home, printing it herself on an offset press in the basement. Some of that ink rubbed off, and Willow has been on the staff of several magazines as a layout artist, photographer, project developer and department editor. She has also written five books on crafts, folklore and other topics. When not working on graphics or writing copy, she can be found happily buried in every form of fiber art and needlework because of their tactile and colorful natures.
